Econofan’s unique features make it a winner. Its high air output is a result of specially designed stainless steel fan blades, which are mounted on an aluminium drive mechanism. This is equipped with maintenance-free, high grade bearings. The outer housing is made of galvanized plate. Econofan’s sturdy design means the unit can be used freestanding as well. This makes it possible to shift it from one building to another, if needed.
The MS model is fitted with a safety grill on one side. The other side features a louver with a patented centrifugal opening mechanism. Automatically opening the louvers when the fan is switched on. This guarantees adequate ventilation at all fan speeds. The fine adjustment provided by the centrifugal system and the heavy-duty design of the louvre itself prevent the overlapping slats from rattling at high air flows. The louvers, when fully closed, reduce heat loss from the building and keep out vermin. The GS model is fitted with a safety grill on both sides, so that it can be used inside a building for aircirculation.
The Econofan comes in 4 sizes, the VDL 40, the VDL 30, the VDL 20 and the VDL 10 (all in the MS and GS version). Other motor size and voltage specifications are available on request.
