The Irradia GaAs-laser

904 nm, 60 mW or 120 mW

GaAs lasers are suited for treating problems of muscles, tendons and joints. It has been shown not only that different laser types produce different biological effects, but also that different pulsing bring about different biological responses. Most therapists recommend low frequencies when the prime interest is to alleviate pain and high frequencies for treating inflammations generally. There are many double-blind studies, where GaAs-lasers have proven to be very effective e.g. on lymphedema, tennis elbow, supraspinatus or bicepital tendonitis, gonarthrosis, myofascial pains, lumbago, pain and swelling associated with rheumatoid arthritis, different chronic pain conditions and neuralgia. GaAs-lasers are also much used on athletic injuries. This probe is particularly popular with physiotherapists, chiropractors, masseurs and for treatment of horses and dogs.

30 mW – 900 mW

There are several types of GaAlAs-lasers. The most common type emits a continuous, invisible or barely visible light with the wavelength 820 nm.  It is most sucessful in the treatment of tendonitis and is a good complement to the GaAs laser and red light laser types.  It can be used for skin conditions as leg ulcers but also, at least to some extent, on the problems of muscles, tendons and joints. The emitted light is divergent in order to minimize eye risk. Probes with a higher or lower output power may be furnished on request.

The Irradia Indium-laser

In general, these lasers (emitting a continuous, visible red light) have proven most effective in treating conditions related to skin/mucous membranes, e.g. herpes simplex, herpes zoster, scars, verrucae, acne, chronic ulcers, neuralgia, eczema, aphte, decubitus and hypersensitive dentine.
